Monchiero Carbone are known to make really good Roero Arneis. We really liked the cru-arne ice Cecu d'la Biunda 2009 long ago and thought to try little brother Recite 2009 before we fill the depots.
Recite (little king) pick grapes from 10 acres scattered in Canale, vezz and Priocca. Arneis is a fast-ripening grape that quickly loses the acid at the high level of maturity, so as to maintain the delicate acidity of through vinifieringsprocessen finesses of malo and stores only to steel.
