When we tested through all Tenuta delle Terre Neres wines, it was the basic version of Etna Rosso that appealed to me most. Nerello mascalesen was initially pressed the big button, charm and ladles up hearty scoops of sötmogna strawberries and raspberries bathed in sweet cream, but soon we are more familiar, more slender hints of cranberry, red currants and cranberries in the glass. 2008: an was kaxigare of crackling mineral-laden countenance, while the 2009-ball is a bit more hair carefully combed smooth and fruity - maybe even a little on the "international" side. This vintage is not much that controls reminiscent of Burgundy or Piedmont - more towards lighter and cleaner central Italians. With that said, it is TdTN's Etna Rosso 2009 a lovely matvin in its fresh but intense style, and for money (123 USD) you will not find much else in this genre, which is at such a high level on the SB.
