Chris (Cristhoper Montañez, Los Angeles, California, January 1943) began singing rancheras with his older brothers as a child. In 1962, Chris' single "Let's Dance" hit the number 1 top 10 and in November 1972 the single "Crazy about you" gained popularity thanks to Brazilian rhythms.
